Check Singapore’s regional air quality and understand what the readings mean for outdoor activities.

Check regional air-quality readings

PM2.5 and PSI categories

PM2.5 and PSI use different scales. Read each value with its own category.

1-hour PM2.5 · µg/m³

  • 0–55: Normal
  • 56–150: Elevated
  • 151–250: High
  • 251 and above: Very High

24-hour PSI · index

  • 0–50: Good
  • 51–100: Moderate
  • 101–200: Unhealthy
  • 201–300: Very Unhealthy
  • Above 300: Hazardous

Category source: MOH Haze advisory, checked 20 October 2026. Labels describe air quality; individual risk also depends on health, exertion and exposure duration. For immediate activities use 1-hour PM2.5; for next-day plans consult NEA’s PSI forecast, not the observed PSI displayed here.

Planning outdoor activities: now and tomorrow

For immediate plans, use 1-hour PM2.5. Healthy people should ease strenuous activity at 56–150 µg/m³, skip strenuous activity at 151–250, and keep all outdoor activity to a minimum above 250. Vulnerable people should skip strenuous activity at 56–150 and all outdoor activity above 150.

Use the PSI forecast for next-day plans; the observed PSI above is not that forecast. Individual tolerance varies. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.

Before reusing an N95 or equivalent respirator

MOH permits reuse during haze if the mask remains clean, dry, undamaged and in shape. Never share it.

Before reusing, check:

Replace a soiled, damp, damaged or misshapen mask.

Older adults, pregnant women and people with severe heart or lung problems should ask their doctor before using an N95 or equivalent respirator. Take a break if it causes discomfort.

Use this checklist before reuse. It does not certify fit or protection. MOH respirator guidance.

Data endpoints: 24-hour PSI and 1-hour PM2.5. Readings are fetched on request; no saved values or invented substitutes are used.

We reject invalid or missing regional values and observations over two hours old. This two-hour cutoff is a product freshness rule, not an official health threshold. If a feed fails, consult NEA directly.

Contains NEA data made available through data.gov.sg under the Singapore Open Data Licence. Readings may be unavailable if the feed cannot be reached.
